In the centre of duke's M. Oginskis manor ensemble you will see the beautiful pond with sculpture of Venus and Cupid (Amur) in the middle. 

The sculpture is the only one fully restored from the sculptures in the park and ensemble.

In 1983 M. Butautienė created the sculpture restoration project and it was cast in bronze by the sculptor S. Norkūnas.

The sculpture was built in the middle of the Parteris pond in 1991.
